Area Sales Manager (UltraCrete)

Description:
We are looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager for our UltraCrete brand. Covering the North West of England, from Cumbria down to Staffordshire. The main purpose of the role is to increase sales by actively promoting the UltraCrete range of products to prospective and current customers throughout the North region.

Duties:
• Fully prepare for and attend appointments for both existing and prospect customers
• Assist in responding & documenting promptly to sales leads and gaining maximum potential
• Primary responsibility for researching and prospecting new contacts and departments within organisations
• Primary responsibility for researching and prospecting customers needs and requirements and matching these with product recommendations including material training and trials
• Develop relationships with customers
• Attending exhibitions and industry events to gain new sales leads
• Identify future markets and product requirements and enhancements
• Identify contractors, specifiers and engineers with potential requirements for our product range
• Manage ongoing pricing reviews and maintenance
• Database cleanses to be completed in line with standard procedure
• Ensure all project information is stored within the company database
• Constantly looking for opportunities for add on sales to both existing and new customers
• Following up promptly samples and quotations to convert to a sale
• Quoting for new products
• Recommending product solutions to suit the customers' needs
• Provide PR opportunities whenever possible
• Pass on any sales opportunities for other materials available from the group to relevant sales person
• Managing inbound and outbound calls relevant to your area (office days and field days)
• Assist in taking technical calls
• Dealing with complaints and queries and demonstrate evidence that all available tools have been utilised to resolve any issues (e.g. site support visits, product testing etc)
• Resolving feedback entries ensuring that open records are reviewed and notes entered onto the system – daily

Requirements:
As this position is covering the North West of England (Staffordshire to Cumbria), we are looking for someone who lives on patch.
A self starter with enthusiasm and strong work ethic
Experience in a similar field sales role, achieving and exceeding KPI's and targets
Strong organisation skills
Excellent communication skills
