HAUC - The Highway Authorities and Utilities Committee was established in 1986 by the constituent bodies of the local Highway Authorities and the Utilities to assist the Secretary of State in proposals for new street works legislation. Regional HAUC’s operate in local areas to provide legislation, guidance and form matters of mutual interest in relation to street works. 

North West HAUC, North of England HAUC and Yorkshire HAUC (the Three HAUCs) are collaborating on a one day Road & Street Works Event which will take place at Wetherby Racecourse on Thursday 28 June.  This event is FREE TO ATTEND FOR DELEGATES.

Delegate registration starts at 9.00am and continues all day so you are free to arrive whenever you wish.  The theme for the event is Performance Matters and there will be three identical seminar sessions on this topic at 10.00am, 12.00pm and 2.00pm.  There will also be drilling & tapping and interactive site set-up demonstrations.  In addition, delegates will be able to find out about the latest in recycling, new materials and many other products and innovations at a range of internal and external stands and displays.
