UltraCrete to exhibit at Scotland’s Largest Road Infrastructure Event

UltraCrete, the brand of proven and tested highways maintenance solutions, is set to exhibit at Road Expo Scotland on 2nd and 3rd November at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh.

The free-to-attend two day exhibition and conference will bring together over 100 Scottish road maintenance product and service suppliers and an expected 1000 visitors, who are all committed to the continual improvement of the Scottish Road Network.

Visit Instarmac on stand D2 to find out about their new hybrid pothole repair material, Tough Patch® Rapid –  a hard wearing, fast setting, cold lay asphalt that withstands extreme trafficking and is a suitable solution for the repair of defects in bituminous and cementitious surfaces in pavements, driveways, car parks and on high speed roads. This hybrid pothole repair material is reactive meaning it cures much faster – it has a core time of just 24 hours and can be used in wet, freezing and hot conditions.  It compacts under traffic, without rutting or sticking to tyres.

See live demonstrations of Tough Patch® Rapid as well as UltraCrete’s fibre reinforced bedding mortar, M60 F. Also on show, UltraCrete’s Kerb and Patch Repair, ideal for the reinstatement of small areas requiring less than a ready-mix quantity, for example kerbs, steps and trip hazards.

UltraCrete’s range of materials covers an array of repair and refurbishment needs, including post and fence fixing, anti-skid products, line marking and overbanding systems, high specification concretes and early strength gain, fast setting mortars. These products are backed up by first class technical, training and site support, helping you to get it right first time, saving time on site and eliminating repeat visits.

UltraCrete’s sister brand, urban regeneration specialist UltraScape, will also be showcasing its BS 7533 compliant mortar paving system comprising of a bedding mortar, flowable grout and primer for installing paving elements. This fully compliant system offers the reassurance of being tested by independent UKAS accredited laboratories which verify its capabilities and is specified by contractors, engineers and architects across the country for use in major regeneration schemes
