About the Role:
-Leads and manages the team effectively:-
-supervise, organise, advise, motivate and engage a team, specifically undertaking: management of performance, discipline and grievance, timekeeping and absence management
-Carry out performance and development appraisals as well as training and development for each member in the team.
-Recruit, develop and manage the team to enhance capabilities and support personal growth
-To lead and support Area Sales Managers in the field on a regular basis, supporting them to improve through mentoring and coaching.
-Conducting monthly meetings to discuss Brand performance and focus the team. Carrying out annual and interim appraisals.
-In conjunction with the Sales Director set sales targets for the team. Review, monitor and sign off manager bonuses.
-Drive new sales improvement campaigns, working closely with the Marketing team.
-Review and implement price increases.
-Identifying, analysing and actioning any product / customer order pattern changes to reduce deficits.
-Identifying any training requirements within the team to support their continued learning and product awareness.
-Work with the Key Account Manager to maximize opportunities and service levels with major accounts.
-Working with Marketing opportunities.
-Undertake duties in accordance with all relevant management systems and controls.
-Proven experience within a field sales role working at a senior level and responsible for a team
-A proven record of hitting and exceeding sales targets and KPI’s
-People management experience
-Excellent relationship building skills and ability to create rapport with customers.
-Retention / objection handling skills
-Good level of education
-Organised and efficient in planning and diary management.
-Excellent communication skills
-Full UK driving license
-Well presented and professional manner
