Temporary Sales Co-ordinator


This is initially a 4 month temporary position. Sales Coordinators provides exceptional customer service, by building, maintaining relationships and taking responsibility for a customer portfolio. Responsible for maintaining current business levels, whilst identifying opportunity’s to develop business from our product portfolio by proactively up-selling and cross-selling.

• Contribute towards company targets by way of meeting and/or exceeding set targets as an individual and contributing to the teams
• Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success by developing positive relationships with customers. Act as the point of contact and support customers’ needs.
• Identify opportunity with customers, match appropriate products to support their requirements.
• Follow up samples and quotations, converting these to sales.
• Ensure your accounts are constantly aware of active promotions available, follow up and generate new business through own initiative, social media and marketing activity.
• Resolve conflicts, take ownership and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner.
• Manage your Area Sales Managers diary; ensuring customers are visited on a regular basis.
• Use internal tools and systems, to manage the day to day running of your data, ensure systems are maintained and updated at all times.
• Liaising with other departments including Transport, Accounts, Marketing, Laboratory and Production.
• Create KPI and tracker reports as required by business.
• Undertakes duties in accordance with all relevant management systems and controls.
• Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for personal growth in order to promote products with greater understanding and confidence

• Proven work experience within a customer focused environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills and rapport building skills
• Knowledge of CRM software (or equivalent) and MS Office, (MS Excel in particular)
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly relating to data entry
• Committed to on-going learning / training to build knowledge and understanding
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to deliver projects and answer enquiries on time
• Good level of education
