Help Harry Help Others is an incredible, Birmingham-based, charity which supports adults and children affected by any type of cancer. Their Drop-in Cancer Support Centre was started by Harry Moseley before he lost his battle with cancer in 2011 aged just 11 years old.
Tamworth manufacturer, Instarmac Group plc, are avid supporters of the amazing work Help Harry Help Others does for the local community, and with that in mind, they were honoured and delighted to donate the annual rent for the Drop-in Cancer Support Centre.
Georgie Moseley, Harry’s mother and founder of Help Harry Help Others, commented: “I cannot tell you the difference this will make, nor express just how much Instarmac have lightened the load as we navigate our way through continued challenging times where engagement remains difficult.
“Whilst we try our utmost to keep the costs down to deliver all we do, without a building to operate from, we have no centre and cannot provide the 20 services we deliver on site. Instarmac’s support is greatly appreciated and will support our work every single day!”
The Help Harry Help Others Drop-in Cancer Support Centre provides Solihull and Birmingham families with an incredible level of support. Some of the services they provide include emotional support, counselling, financial and housing advice, breast care advice and bra fittings, workshops, and support groups, as well as alternative therapies – all of which are provided completely free of charge, regardless of your postcode and with no appointment or referral necessary.
On Instarmac’s support, Lizzie Elston, Managing Director at Instarmac, said: “When the team at Instarmac was introduced to Georgie at Help Harry Help Others, we collectively agreed that we absolutely must support this wonderful cause and most importantly, support Georgie’s vision. The cancer support services that the HHHO centre and team offer to Midlands communities are unique and vital. The centre thinks of everyone, and everything touched by a cancer diagnosis. Practical, emotional, and financial support are offered in a welcoming and judgement free zone from people who have genuinely been through it all. It’s our pleasure to support Georgie, in Harry’s memory, and raise awareness to allow more families to be supported through cancer.”
