UltraTileFix shortlisted for three TTA Awards

UltraTileFix are delighted to have been shortlisted for three awards – Excellence in Supply & Services, Excellence in Marketing and Best Environmental Initiative – at the tiling industry’s leading award ceremony.

Operating throughout the COVID-19 pandemic was challenging to say the least. UltraTileFix, along with many other businesses in the tiling industry, have had to adapt to new ways of working to keep everyone safe, whilst fulfilling customer needs and demands.

Commitment to business continuity was always the priority and with additional safety measures introduced across the business, along with Instarmac’s ‘Key Supplier’ status, UltraTileFix were able to continue manufacturing and supplying their market-leading products to customers who were completing essential projects across the country.

What’s more, throughout the pandemic, UltraTileFix achieved new record milestones, including the highest ever total of pallets shipped in one day (763 in November) and the highest total shipped pallets in a month (13,241 in October). With this in mind, UltraTileFix are proud to have been shortlisted for an ‘Excellence in Supply & Services’ award at this year’s Tile Association Awards.

UltraTileFix are also honoured to have been shortlisted for the ‘Best Environmental Initiative’ Award. UltraTileFix, and the wider Instarmac Group, have always prided themselves on their environmental, sustainable and ethical practices. The release of their first Environmental and Social Responsibility Report demonstrates their desire to operate as responsibly as possible.

UltraTileFix know that sustainability is not limited to products and how they are manufactured – it is embedded across all aspects of their business. Their Environmental and Social Responsibility Report provides a detailed overview of their achievements to date, as well as their commitment to increasing sustainable practices in the future.  Some of UltraTileFix’s short and long-term goals includes reducing their carbon footprint by 5% by 2022 and increasing their recycling rate to 75% – targets they are well on their way to achieving.

UltraTileFix are also delighted to have been shortlisted for the Excellence in Marketing Award for the launch of ProSS Flex – an adhesive formulated to meet the demand and rising trend of large format wall tiling.

And that’s not all UltraTileFix are celebrating! Martin Pouncey, Technical Training & Site Support Manager at UltraTileFix has been nominated for ‘Employee of the Year’.

After continuing to support UltraTileFix and the industry throughout 2020, Martin Pouncey truly is an employee of the year. Martin has worked in the tiling industry for nearly three decades, and his dedication to his role and responsibilities are second to none. His expertise and knowledge have made a huge difference to the industry and those who working in it, from contractors, retailers, homeowners and students.
